Hi I’m Joe, I’m in my twenties, I have no formal tech experience, and I’m building an AI automation business from scratch with next to nothing, with next to nothing.
No degree. No connections. No safety net.
What I do have is a Raspberry Pi 5 running on my desk 24/7, a willingness to figure things out the hard way, and a commitment to document every step of the journey – the wins, the failures, and everything in between.
The work that matters most happens outside of the ring – the footwork drills, the conditioning, the discipline before anyone’s watching. That’s how I approach this too. The visible stuff, the posts, the workflows, the builds – those are the fights. But the real work is quieter and it never stops.
I also take my mind seriously. I train it the same way I train my body. That means thinking for myself, questioning what I read, and never outsourcing my judgement, even when I’m using AI to do the heavy lifting.
ZeroToAutomate exists because I couldn’t find any resource that spoke to people like me. Most AI automation content is just slop or written by experts who forgot what it feels like to start from zero, and by hobbyists who never tried to turn it into something real.
I’m neither of those. I’m someone in the middle of it right now.
